Sustainable Lifestyle For Beginners

Welcome to Smart Money Green Planet, a sustainable lifestyle blog for beginners.

Hi, I am Reshma and I run the sustainable lifestyle blog, Smart Money Green Planet.

I write about home and garden ideas, as well as, natural skincare recipes to inspire you to achieve a minimalist home, develop a love for organic and edible gardening; and introduce you to an alternative non toxic, natural skincare routine.

You will also find blog posts about frugal living ideas to save money in the long run.

Please feel free to connect via Instagram or Facebook if you enjoy reading my posts.

The Journey Begins

If I gave tips on how to save money or make more money, I would have everyone’s attention. If I gave tips on how to save the environment and make the planet greener, most would ignore me.  However, what if I gave tips on how to save or make more money while protecting the environment, how many would give me their time?

This is where Smart Money Green Business comes in.  My blogs and reviews will help you as a small business owner who wants to make a difference have access to resources and information you need to do ‘your bit’ to protect the environment.  Through this process, it will help you realise that you can increase your cash whilst doing what is good for the environment. I am also hoping we can use this blog as a platform to influence big businesses to make changes needed for a greener planet.

I have spent over 20 years of my career making environmental sense out of business issues.  In other words, I’ve worked with large organisations to find ways for businesses to work towards protecting the environment and in the process I learned how they could save and in some cases make money while working towards a greener planet.

I decided to start this blog to enable small businesses who do not have large departments with large budgets and cannot afford to hire consultants to make sound choices.  As far as I’m concerned, if all the small businesses in the world came together, they would probably form several multibillion pound businesses worthy of inclusion into stock markets.  Now, if they collectively hold that much power, imagine how much of the natural resources are consumed, how much waste is generated, how much the air is polluted, water is consumed and energy is used by small businesses.  Suddenly the small forgotten business is no longer small.

I hope you will join me on this journey no matter where on earth you live or operate your business from. Together we can find ways to protect the environment and make a little bit more money on the way.
